| DESIGN NAME: Creator C-100 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Innovative fitness clockwork dumbbells INSPIRATION: The fundamental intention of this design is to allow more people to be able to exercise, especially those who are busy with work, helping them meld fitness training seamlessly into their working life. During business travel and tourism, they can also take this equipment to train their body and help make the trip more fun. This innovative dumbbell design is versatile and simple to use for people of all ages. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This product is an innovative form of easy-to-carry, easy-to-store, fitness clockwork dumbbell. It offers an innovative way to efficiently perform simple physical exercise. The dumbbell is small and takes up little space. It is easy for people to carry and do exercises anywhere and anytime. This innovative clockwork dumbbell utilizes a volute clockwork spring as a medium and adjusts dumbbell poundage by controlling the tightness of the spring. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The clockwork dumbbell is divided into three parts: mainspring mechanism fixed on the arm,stress band wrapped around the palm,and a gel sticker that protects against muscle tearing.Full of air vents,the gel patch can effectively diffuse heat. The clockwork dumbbell can be used on both the left and the right hand.It can also be fixed to one foot and one hand for some specific exercises. 1. Hook & loop mainspring mechanism with adjustable tightness 2. Gel sticker protecting the wrist and elbow,preventing muscle injury 3. Palm stress band with adjustable tightness PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in August 2017 in Xiamen and finished in November 2017 in Xiamen. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The power part of dumbbell is composed of cochlear curl strips, which are made of metal and plastic.The force belt on the palm is made of cloth, and the gel patch on the arm is mainly made of elastic cotton.They are fixed on the body through a magic stick. The knob at the top of the spring can be turned to make the spring generate a reverse force, thus adjusting the dumbbell poundage. CHALLENGE: 1. Due to weight and site restrictions, traditional fitness equipment can only be used in specific fitness venues. 2. Most traditional dumbbells are bulky and inconvenient to carry, and so they are particularly unfriendly to those who do not have time to go to the gym. 3. Traditional dumbbells are also cumbersome and not flexible enough when you wish to adjust the weight.
