| DESIGN NAME: Spring PRIMARY FUNCTION: Storage incense INSPIRATION: We expect to break through the simple function of the traditional joss stick stand and solve the problem of difficult storage of incense. The packaging of incense makes incense easily dampened. It cannot diffuse the original fragrant smell after long term storage. We combine the incense burner with storage space. On one hand, it prevents incense from being dampened; on the other hand, it is convenient for users to fetch incense so that users will not forget where the incense is. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Spring symbolizes green scene and refers to the most colorful season of a year. We design according to the original simple joss-stick stand and expand the space to store joss stick, and expect it to diffuse a fragrant odor like flowers budding in spring, in order to bring the best usage experience for users. The diffusion of fragrance is accompanied by the proper placement of incense ashes. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Users can take out all the incense and immediately put it in the tube of Spring, store it for a long time after plugging the cork, which is damp proof. We can enjoy the fragrance of incense through taking it out, plugging it in the cork and firing it. The ashes after combustion will accumulate in the groove below, realizing the convenience and maintenance of cleanness. Therefore, we ponder the possibility to integrate the space of incense stand and storing incense. We try to embrace the phrase as drinking at a rivulet, stopped to consider its source to deal with design we made, to achieve the goal that balance between commercial and society. |
