| DESIGN NAME: Nostalgia to Rock PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: Consistent with the style of brick walls, the TV wall and rust-style metals reveal the atmosphere of old-time memories, as the reminiscence of brick walls. The TV wall, in metals, display the distinguishing characteristic. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Nostalgia for LOFT and Simplicity of modernism, the combination of these two elements is of enticement in this project. In retro colors, the large brick walls and blue couches are tempting in the living room, in which the senses of both hip-hop and fun make coming home always be pleasant. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Home is where the family relationship presents. The connected-designed living and dining room are where to stay, to watch, to listen, and to eat. This is the careful design strengthening the family intimacy. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in November 2015 in Taichung City, Taiwan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The unadorned walls express the idiosyncrasy of elegance and gracefulness. Installed before the TV wall, the audio equipment has made the living room the palace of symphony orchestra. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This space is 198 square meters. TAGS: Interior Design, Residence RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Accordant to the brick walls in the living room, the dining cabinet and trims in the dining room ornamented in tweaks, and the dining table made of cypress suggest the old-fashioned attractiveness as well. CHALLENGE: Mostly furnished with wooden material, the private spaces manifest the comforting atmosphere. Decorated with Disney cartoon characters as CARS and American Captain, the kids' room symbolizes the enjoyable playground in the family.
