| DESIGN NAME: Quiescent moment of time PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: For a long time since the diversified qualities, associated with the interactions of old fashion and elegancy, have been magnificently spreading over the lovely sweet home, in which the extensive atmosphere drifting quiescently in the wonderful chapters of home. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: By the side of staircase, the white grilles manifest the authenticity of vigor, which staggers on the path of elegancy as if the blue sky lustering over Mediterranean. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: For the greenery outdoor environment, the residential atmosphere is agreeable with the nature. Given the design plan encompassing the living room, dining room and kitchen in the same large space, the family members sharing the same space enjoy the moment of intimacy. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in 2017 in Taiwan. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The indoor space is wide open, of which the large white spaces decorated with light wooden colors magnify the visual meanwhile. The atmosphere of public space, considering the living room and washitsu, with great view to outdoor scenery is cozy and comforting. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This space is 140 square meters. TAGS: Interior Design, Residental RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The decoration style in the public areas is plain and amiable, of which the washed-grabolithic walls and culture-stone walls are extinguishing, the wooden tables and chairs are dignified, the big grey couch is elegant, and the polished floors are devastating. CHALLENGE: The style in the private areas is with distinct characteristics, of which the exposed concrete walls, bedside chandeliers, the master bathroom furnished with the cloudy marbles, etc. all of which are aging gently over time. NAME: MEI Design Studio PROFILE: A architecture-loving-mother founded design company based its creativity on pure design and original thinking, guides and nurtures the team of young designers, creates an environment of courage.Founder Hsu Mei-lin had a few years of experiences in architect firm before she changed her job and started up architecture-interior-design based studio due to family issues. In the beginning, it was just about reading, drinking coffee, and more reading and more coffee, the interior design came much later: residences, shops, offices, and the single family mansions architectural design is the project of recent years. The studio now consists of professionals in architecture, interior design, and visual communication. Projects are based on discussions on breakdowns of works. Starting from the original point and being persistent on quality and elegant presentation, the ambition is to realize our new creation in a more courageous form. |
