| DESIGN NAME: Grotta Azzurra PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: For owners, Grotta Azzurra in Italy brings back many pleasant memories. So we decided to utilize the blue light to keep those memories fresh. The appearances of day and night present so different that people look forward to going back home with happiness. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Bravely utilizing the concept of Grotta Azzurra to the residential project, the blue lights are like the blue waters in visual. The appearance of the carved rock is just like every structure on the marble cannot be predictable but charming. The sight from the corridor is the end of Grotta Azzurra. Offering two visual arts to our clients, the sun light inserts into the space and brings an energetic day to them. In turn, at night, the space is a traveling extension of the amazing memory in Italy. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We always think about interior design is not only to arrange the organization of the space but also to contain every single person and matters in daily life. This project is able to carry out our philosophy we hold all the time. That is decoration designs which are furniture, accessory, and furnishings. All of the decorations make home more complete. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Marble stone plate, the piano roasting the paint, customized iron metal , customized aluminum sliding door SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Site area:Width 7500mm x Depth 11200mmx Height 2800mm 80 sq.m TAGS: Grotta Azzurra, interior design, residential design, commercial design, graphic design, art decoration, home decoration RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The whole project took us 3 years to complete from pre-sale house. We become friends, and that provides us clearly to understand what their necessary is. Based on 3 bedrooms, 1 living room and 1 dining room, the space uses light, marble stone plate, cellular shades, and customized sliding door. All the elements are just to tell from day and night and take them back to unforgettable time in Grotta Azzurra ,Italy. CHALLENGE: By using the stone plate, the overwhelming of this material is as the same as that of the real stone.This is an extremely hard work. High class customized aluminum door makes the corridor much longer. This door is not easy to install, but it's used easily and smoothly. Before assembling the door, we have to imitate various conditions to achieve a satisfying effect.
