| DESIGN NAME: VOG Collection PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition Design INSPIRATION: The space of the stand look like theatrical stage: theatrical curtain on dark background opened and show the presentation of the wallpaper collection. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The aesthetic concept of the stand based on the image of unfolding rolls of wallpaper. The light movement of wave of wallpaper organize the space of the stand. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: On the walls and on the waves of the stand there were wallpaper. The visitors of the stand can see and touch them. On the tables was catalogues with wallpaper. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in November 2016 in Moscow and finished in 04 April 2017 in Moscow on exhibition MosBuild 2017. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The carcass of the stand made from OCTANORM constructions. The walls and another parts of the stand made of MDF, plywood sheet, chipboard. Surfaces of the information desk and the bar are painted high-gloss varnish. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The exhibition stand is 140 sq. m., 14000 mm x 10000 mm x 5000 mm. TAGS: The image of unfolding rolls of wallpaper, the wave of wallpaper, the idea of theatrical stage, VOG Collection, Viktor Bilak RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The most important part of researching work for this project was connected with searching of harmonic proportions of wall thicknesses for creation the effect of relief in interior space. CHALLENGE: The hardest part of this design activity was to find aesthetic silhouettes of the waves of unfolding wallpaper.
