| DESIGN NAME: Folding Easel PRIMARY FUNCTION: Foldable INSPIRATION: Through the use of personal and business sales found that the existing easel is obsolete, shelter space, high transport costs and damage rate, and wasted storage space, we want to make appropriate improvements to these issues through this design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This product takes full account of ergonomic factors, the use of stretching, screwing, locking, limit and magnet adsorption to achieve its folding function, it is easy to carry and storage, it is non-blocked sight used when you are sitting, and can adjust the standing height, the folded flat square shape is simple, and the combination color is elegant, the folding easel bases environmental synthetic ecological wood and paint metal profiles, which saves resources. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This product is easy to carry and storage when folded, can be adjusted when the height of the deployment, to provide painting support when sitting or standing. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design had started in January 2016 in Shenyang, completed in June 2016 in Shenyang, and displayed in July the same year in the museum of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: When the product is folded, the main body is made of environmentally friendly synthetic wood, when unfolded, the upper part, the rear part and the bottom part of the paint metal profiles are used, the middle connection part uses the metal bolt, and the bottom end uses the magnet to lock the connection between the ecological wood and the metal profile. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The expansion dimension of the easel is 500mmx300mmx1400mm, the folding size is 100mmx75mmx800mm, this product is mainly used CNC machining center to complete the various parts of the cross, vertical profile, grinding, slotting, drilling and painting. TAGS: easel , environmental synthetic ecological wood , paint metal profile , folded , portable RESEARCH ABSTRACT: According to the use problem of existing and the ergonomic principle of functional, we design an easel to improvement function, which has a good folding nature and easy to transport and storage, the nice property of this product includes simple shape, elegant color, environmental protection materials, clear structure, and easy processing, it is all in line with the concept of contemporary social resource conservation. CHALLENGE: The strength of the eco-synthetic wood and lacquered metal profiles at the start of the product is the biggest challenge in the design, there are two ways to solve this problem, first, control the location of the middle of the hole, the second is to calculate the easel to start with the ground angle. NAME: LuXun Academy of Fine Arts PROFILE: The predecessor of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts (LAFA) was the Yanan-based Luxun Arts College (LAC) founded, in 1938, by the pioneering generation of Chinese Revolutionaries including Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai. Mao personally handwrote the Motto of LAC: “Strenuousness, Seriousness, Diligence and Modesty”. The college was removed to Northeast China in 1945 and evolved to Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1958. |
