RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research objectives of this projects are directed towards identifying the relationship and difference of classical and contemporary style. It is a marriage between two different concept and merge into one uniform statement. In order to compliment old and new, extensive research had been done to understand the basic logic and history of classical design language. This help us to further explore the accent of re-adaptive old classical buildings and give it new soul in the current era. This will encourage more conservation of old classic buildings in Malaysia and put it to good use. We hope the town council to consider preservation our history heritage and merge it with new future development .
CHALLENGE: The hardest challenge is to maintain the "old" classical language yet been able to conceive a modern contemporary context to suit the current living lifestyle. It is always a challenge to convince our clients to accept "old" elements rather then new elements.
