| DESIGN NAME: Sakura Themed Hotel Room PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hotel Room INSPIRATION: While we were designing our project we got inspired from the Sakura Flower that Japanese people consider it sacred.Sakura falls down with its most beautiful shape and only lives for 10 days. Sakura is liken to Samurai life due to reminding the instant dead during life.We included Sakura as an element that remind the distance between the life and death. We designed the hammock, slouching water bucker and the sink in a shape of billet as the symbol of the relationship between the human and nature UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Our project is a boutique room design which will be applied in fairground. Our stating point was the relationship between the flower and the nature. Therefore we stated nature as our key fact. In case we reflected the flower as love in the nature, the happiness and the symbolization of the energy of life in our design. In addition we designated the relationship between the human and nature as a happiness spring. We fictionalised the love and happiness that nature gives to people... OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Project has been developed from the relationship between the nature and flower PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The designing process has been completed between the dates October-December 2015 and it has been exhibited at January 2016. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We greet our customers with angels and an artistic sculpture composed with birds in front of the entrance door. We separated the bathroom and the room with using the water which is the source of life and nature. We positioned our special living algeas, which doesn't produce CO2, on the wall of bathroom and room. We also colorized our walls with the pink limbs of sakura SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Our project includes a bedroom, changing room and bathroom in area of 48 m2 TAGS: Interior, Sakura, Life, Death, Nature, Hotel Room RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We researched about the Sakura flower and how to express it in our design. we choose to use moss on the wall and flowing water from the combined board with bathroom is to represent nature. Moss is chosen also for its long life.. CHALLENGE: Only difficulty was the time gap for the applying process. After the design has been applied our project has exhibited for 4 days.
