PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House
INSPIRATION: Inspired by Ballerinas, this design was meant to be as simple and as attractive, as sophisticated and as airy as a dancing ballerina..
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A young couple apartment in Cairo's posh area, Zamalek. The design objective was to renovate the apartment with the lowest possible budget, maintaining a glamor that would suit the ancient district. The design team wanted to achieve a transitional design style, blending modern simplicity with traditional luxury. The mix of contradicting materials as stone, marble, silver, murano and plexi glass, achieved the sophistication required. The modern silent furniture was balanced with an ancient roman statue that gave character to the place.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in August 2013 in Cairo, Egypt and finished in March 2014

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Modern silent materials as plexi glass, silver, and leather was mixed with traditional luxurious materials as marble, stone, and murano.
