| DESIGN NAME: Neisa PRIMARY FUNCTION: Playful Table Set INSPIRATION: Furniture is not just a mere component in the house, but also something staying with you for many years. That is why, I believe it's important to design simple and practical, yet humorous and playful furniture in your home to give you some comfort. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Neisa is a set of wooden side tables. You can use just one or combine them to expand the size, thus users have an opportunity to arrange them as they want depending on where these tables are placed inside the house. And also, with this unique shape, you can combine them in a playful way.I chose walnut and black oak that have different colors and textures for materials of these tables to make users appreciate aesthetics of each wood, and enjoy combining them. The works cover product design, interior design, graphic design, and art direction. In 2015, Hiraoka co-founded Japanese International Design Award and works as a director of the award.
