INSPIRATION:
We were inspired by organic forms found in nature, and thoughtfully created a piece that would elevate the value in tactile experiences, and that will complement the contours of our hands.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
wet n wild has created Max Volume Plus Mascara that is designed with function, form, and emotion in mind. It has a strong purpose because it addresses user needs through thoughtful ergonomic design, and enhances the user experience in a positive, emotional way with the detailed design language. Innovation is solved in a timeless and classic package, making it both beautiful to look at, as it engages the user in a visual way, while adding emotional value to their experience when the user interacts with our product.

The project started in March 2014 and finished in July 2014

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
We took foam and spent hours and hours to sand and shape numerous mockups. It had to feel right in our hands, and enhance our emotional experience when interacting with it. We wanted to create more value in our piece by executing a shape that would speak to our users.

CHALLENGE:
The creative challenge was to have it visually emphasize that it produces volume to the eyelashes, while keeping the shape elegant and attractive.
