DESIGN NAME: LuLin Tea 'Tea Cubed' Packaging Range
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Tea packaging design
INSPIRATION: Sophisticated and thoughtful optical illusions were inspirations for the new and innovative tea bag. Using modern art as a back drop for a newly invented tea bag range focussed at tea connisseurs, shops, hotels, restaurants and bars in the luxury and premium market.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The inner structural box is a bespoke presentation that can be used across the range. Each box has a sleeve design that can be updated and changed dependant on the tea bag flavours content around the generic box. The sleeve is printed on all sides to allow the design to have shelf impact or create a statement piece in hotel bedrooms and in bars. The sleeve design repeat pattern design is changed across the range to highlight tea type. Key product information is spread across the sleeve design.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A slip case sleeve around a hinged box that opens in half. When open the box is split into two compartments that allow the tea bags to sit in.
