INSPIRATION:
Designed in response to the biennale santorini of arts 2012 on past and memory. Grandmother's house is inextricably linked to our childhood, with different retro objects, that to our eyes seem old fashioned and without any practical use. How many times have we deplored silently or otherwise, the semedakia which covers the various furniture. (Semedakia - decorative lace furniture runners and doilies)

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
SEME SIDE TABLE. The important elements of the past becoming memory. The memory translated into inspiration. The inspiration transformed into design and the design into a dynamic usable object. Grandmother's house is inextricably linked to our childhood, with different retro objects, that to our eyes seem old fashioned and without any practical use. RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
my career as an industrial designer has taken me all over the world, exposed me to a myriad of materials and manufacturing techniques and provides constant inspiration to expand the realm of current practices to achieve new and interesting outcomes.

CHALLENGE:
the greatest challenge was to prototype a piece that requires this level of precision, all the while knowing that the technology exists to do so with ease. but, recognizing the simplicity of manufacturing such a piece, served as the greatest motivation to do so, by hand.

NAME:
Tsigaras christos. Studio of architectural and industrial design

PROFILE:
Christos Tsigaras created his own studio in 2012 having as an object the architectural design study, Supervision, as well as the project management in private homes and Business Premises. He owns Bachelor of Arts in Industrial design he is actively involved in the study and the construction of objects and he has been general in the field of Industrial design in Greece since 1990. He has taken parts in international competitions, exhibiting household objects in which he had the study and production as a whole. This object was designing by us, in order to produce by us.
