| DESIGN NAME: Chimney PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition booth INSPIRATION: This design project had participated in exhibition on-site scheme of “Design Week ”. In order to support “low carbon”, "efficient" UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The space concept of this design is closed bay. As the venue is well-equipped with adequate lighting and our unit displays projector or LCD works mainly, our design use “Chimney Effect” structure to avoid any abnormal normal lighting and ventilation issue. Therefore, this structure can resolve partly natural lighting and insufficient ventilation concerns. Each chimney can be an individual space and also can be combined into a open but independent public space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We use secondary lighting source (LED light belt), which is low resource-consuming. This material can meet lighting requirements and helps to create proper atmosphere, also can reach our “low carbon” green goal PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in Guangzhou China FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Considering this design project last for three days and for short-term usage only, we apply steel structure, composite board and other recyclable composition as our major material. Inner and outer board surface is processed by green white coating material, as well as color inject painting and stick painting.
