| DESIGN NAME: Anti-fog PRIMARY FUNCTION: Mug INSPIRATION: Eye glasses getting fogging up when drinking hot beverages has always been one of the problems of people with glasses and this gave us the motivation to find a solution. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The modified form of this mug stops eye glasses from fogging up. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The diagonal cut at the top of the mug helps the steam get out and stops it from getting in touch with the lens of glasses. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: From December 2013 to February 2014 in Tehran. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The material is ceramic and the production technique is slip casting in molds. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: height:12 cm - diameter:8 cm TAGS: Mug, Anti-fog, fogged up, glasses RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We researched about the other mug and their problems. CHALLENGE: Our biggest challenges in the design process of this mug was designing a handle that was usable for both right and left handed people and making sure that the correct way of drinking from the mug is shown so we designed a new kind of handle that could solve these problems.
