| DESIGN NAME: Sky Led PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lighting Element INSPIRATION: Existing resources in nature become extinct day by day, and the exhaustion is instigated with population growth. A new one is added in environmentalist solutions every day. Designers and manufacturers are looking for solutions with ecological products. SKY LED is a lighting system which creates a solution without consumption to ambient lighting. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Designers and manufacturers are looking for solutions with ecological products.Sky led is a lighting system which creates a solution without consumption to ambient lighting.It produces energy that need its own with benefiting from solar and wind energy and stores natural energy with photovoltaic panels from the sun and turbines from the wind and converts natural energy to light and contribute to a sustainable environment without the using of existing energy resources in the underground. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The purpose of the design that effects people’s lives in positive way with saving energy. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: SKY LED produces its own energy so it does not need cabling infrastructure for energy transfer.It provides surround illumination both directly and indirectly with the two light source. With SMD LED technology, illuminates from sunset until sunrise with RGB color duct. At the same time, it provides extraordinary illumination with changing color diffusion. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The aim of Project is protect the energy resources in nature with ligthing design. The lighting object that should generate its own energy.Solar and wind energy were identified as usable energy. It could generate and stored energy in windy fall and winter days as well as sunny spring and summer days. It was designed as lighting element that consume no energy and preserve nature. CHALLENGE: We were not challenge any difficulties during the design, but we had difficulty in presentation period. Because, we are interior architects and we do not know how should the industrial design present.
