PRIMARY FUNCTION: Branding Project
INSPIRATION: Inspired by making full use of the leftover of genuine vegetable tanned leather from a handmade sandals factory. Only 70 percent of a piece of genuine leather were used during the production process. The remaining 30 percent of leftover materials often end up being discarded or kept in warehouse, occupying storage spaces. momore is pioneering a new aesthetic in the pet market with its recycled vegetable tanned leather products, the brand's spirit of environmentally friendly, pet-friendly.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The brand core element, artisan craftsmanship, circular economy, and minimalist aesthetics. Upcycled the leftover genuine leather from the handmade sandals factory into a series of eco-conscious pet-friendly products. The two letters m on the brand name momore and the simplicity and symbolism logo, derives from the pricked ears of cats and dogs, with texture of hand stitching on leather. The brand slogan, more care, more love, reflects the brand commitment to sustainability and caring for pets.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The application scope of the logo is quite extensive, not limited to pet leather toys and packaging, but also applicable to various platforms such as the official website. It not only brings visual consistency to the brand but also enhances brand awareness and recognition, attracting more users to learn about the brand.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Nov, 2021 and ended in Jul, 2022, Tainan, Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The logo is created using Adobe Illustrator, with the combination and extension of the two letters m in the brand name. This extension incorporates features of cats and dogs, as well as characteristics of leather crafting, representing the brand target audience in the pet leather recycling market. This precise targeting ensures that pet owners can confidently make purchases, and pets can use the products safely. Various color formats are provided, including RGB, CMYK, and Pantone, to ensure consistent color appearance across all media platforms.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The brand inherits the commitment of artisanal sandals to selecting durable, environmentally friendly, and healthy raw materials, ensuring that both pets and owners can use the products with peace of mind. This echoes the core spirit of the brand, which is more care, more love.
CHALLENGE: The most challenging part is the brand naming, which must sound pleasant, be easy to pronounce, and have a good phonetic quality. At the same time, it must align with the company's spirit to establish an image of pet leather recycling and create an appealing visual identity.
