PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Typography

INSPIRATION:
Inspired by the traditional Chinese copper coin pattern——a patterned totem used to seek wealth, I designed the type from this quadripartite continuous pattern. Combining Eastern and Western superstitions I'm trying to create a font with a certain sense of humor, and, can bring me wealth in a foreign land.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Drawn from the traditional Chinese copper coin motif, a patterned emblem associated with the pursuit of wealth, I conceived the typeface based on this four-part continuous design. By blending superstitions from both Eastern and Western cultures, my intention is to craft a font infused with a specific sense of humor that not only transcends cultural boundaries but also holds the potential to attract prosperity.
