| DESIGN NAME: UVFree PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sun Protection App INSPIRATION: Yet every day, 100 people worldwide suffer from skin diseases due to improper sun protection, and 60,000 people die from sun exposure every year. Our inspiration starts from how to build a product that can help users enjoy sunshine without any burden. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: UV Free is a personalized sun protection electronic toolkit that allows you to get real-time sun protection advice based on your personal characteristics, preferences and geographic location. Its accompanying light-sensitive detection hardware provides expert users with more accurate, long-lasting LBS sun protection advice. Through image recognition, UVFree allows user to camera to detect their skin condition, analyze the chance of lesions, and provide treatment and recovery recommendations. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: UV Free is user-friendly. Open the app, share skin details and location. Clever algorithms consider time and UV index, providing real-time sun protection advice. The app's camera uses advanced image recognition to spot skin issues. It offers an education section for informed protection and customizable widgets for tailored sun care, putting you in control. The interaction is seamless. You receive crystal-clear, actionable recommendations for shielding your skin from the sun. But that's not all. Our app features a camera option that allows you to capture a photo. We employ advanced image recognition technology to scrutinize the image, helping us spot potential skin issues and providing guidance on treatment and recovery. Beyond personalized advice, UV Free also offers an education section. Here, you can learn about the importance of sun protection and discover effective ways to safeguard yourself from harmful UV rays. We believe informed users are empowered users. Additionally, we've incorporated customizable widgets. These widgets enable you to tailor your sun protection functions based on your unique needs and preferences. Whether it's setting specific UV thresholds or receiving timely reminders, you're in control. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2022 and finished in March 2023 in Atlanta, USA. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: UV Free uses advanced algorithms to analyze your personal profile, considering factors like skin type, preferences, location, and time of day. Our image recognition technology scans your skin for potential issues, offering precise advice. We also integrate LBS and UV sensing for real-time, accurate UV detection, ensuring you receive reliable sun protection guidance.
