| DESIGN NAME: Shakespresso PRIMARY FUNCTION: Protein Shaker INSPIRATION: Due to multiple uses of the protein shaker and facing serious problems with this product, we decided to redesign it to provide users with a better experience. The simplicity and functionality of the design are inspired by Braun Products and Dieter Rams' principle of keeping the essence of the product the same but making improvements upon that. Combining an espresso machine and a protein shaker in a familiar package for users and taking health and comfort into account, is what makes it unique. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Shakes'presso is a 2 in 1 product which has combined a protein shaker and an espresso machine to help bodybuilders and athletes grow muscle more efficiently. unlike available shakers, it's easy to wash and has a double-walled dedicated cup and storage for BCAA capsules which makes powder blending easy and provides maximum nutrients. an espresso machine is also embedded to guarantee athletes' health by replacing espresso with caffeine capsules that'll harm the liver and stomach in long term. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: the bottom of the product is where the 200-gram powder container is embedded, which has a rotating lid and can be adjusted to control how much powder comes out of the container to avoid mess and make it easier to pour the powder into the main container. In the next section, there's a 1-liter cup with a capsule-shaped tank designed to make washing easier. The inner tank's curvature prevents any mold and eliminates the unpleasant smell of powder leftovers. The double-walled design of the cup allows the inner part to move up and down when the 'Blend' button is pressed thanks to the gap space between the walls. The next part is the filter inside the cup, which helps to prevent any undissolved protein from entering the mouth while drinking. The next section is the top part of the shaker, which is integrated into the blender and has a slightly egg-shaped form inside. The last part is the blender section. After latching this part on the inner cup and pressing the button, the product begins to blend for about 2 minutes, and the protein can be consumed after. The protein shaker's blender is battery-powered and you can easily change the battery, however, the espresso machine is rechargeable and the blue LED indicator shows how much charge is left for use.
