UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This unique ring design was crafted from silver, welded copper, and a variety of colorful sugars. The silver band of the ring was welded to form a base for the intricate copper design, which was crafted in a spiral formation. The copper was then filled with a mix of sugars, including white sugar, brown sugar, and rock sugar, each providing its own unique hue and texture. PROFILE:
Annamaria born in Pescara (Abruzzo Italy) and since a child she showed a keen interest in art and design, distinguishing herself for the recognized artistic skills. She continued her passion by attending and graduating with honors from the Art Institute Bellisario in Pescara Italy , Graphics and Photography. To perfect the welding technique, she did several stages at important jewelry workshops , where she learned different processing techniques. Work and artistic path ... She began her career with international design advertising firms, collaborating on the drafting of various graphic projects for important clients and then managing the creative and graphic office . She first started creating artifacts with industrial beads but over time turned her attention to new materials and creative shapes. Having created my own small art-craft workshop, she started working Murano glass and treating copper, silver, stone, wood and all those materials, even uncommon ones that could give vent to my imagination. Awareness and exposures… Recently, inspired by the perfection of the forms of nature, Annamaria began to turn her creative attention to experimenting with new materials such as silk and resin-coated fabrics ... that had a great success that followed the official European registration certificate. The awareness of the global pollution that we experience in recent years has led me to experiment with new techniques and the use of totally biodegradable materials such as PLA * (Polylactic Acid) with the use of a specific 3d pen (3doodle pen) that is opening up many creative possibilities for me while respecting nature.
