| DESIGN NAME: Marble Masterpiece PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bathroom Design INSPIRATION: This Marble Masterpiece inspired bathroom design idea comes from the studio designer . the studio teamed up to design the master bathroom in California, that has the feeling of luxurious interior. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Interior Digital Designs studio was chosen to make the most of the small space by opting for marble with golden touches and adding in a shower glass door. To add depth to the space there was a decision to use hanging toilet and a vanity with a lower open shelf. In the space there is also a combination os 2 types of tiles, and walls covering was carried out from the floor to the ceiling. Golden lighting and plumbing fixtures are giving the luxurious look and feel. The master bathroom is just that a sleek yet inviting, marble-lined retreat. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Collection of operational and contractual data about the project. Brainstorming about the project, design concept, ideas and formulating guidelines.Advanced formulation of the expected design and its adaptation to expectations and budget.Actual implementation of all the previous steps including a visual presentation (3D) and actual project MNG. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: 6 weeks, Oakland, CA. The 6 weeks were divided into main 2 parts: Internal Brainstorming, Shopping and Design. Due to request from the client to be involve, the team included a weekly meetings as well (zoom and face to face ). |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: the studio team started with a design meeting which includes king of open discussion about the client's dream, Web search, different interior magazines etc. they scanned the space with Camera RICOH THETA Z1 to get full visualisation of the room. Right after it the fun and the focus was on color, furniture, tiles etc. once they had the basic to work with, the designer started the technical part on 3Dmax and Autocad to create the room in 3D. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Room size 45 ft Length 5 Width 9 TAGS: homedecorating, homestyling, interiordesign, bathroomdesign, homeinspirations RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the project research part, initially the client was asked to think from her side about her vision, as part of the request, in order to help, the studio shared with the client a few sources for inspiration, to get the general ideas and to prepare a wish lists. From the studio side, an internal brainstorming was completed (which led to the decision to let 2 of our designers lead the project), a wide review of sites and ideas was started. A physical visit with the customer at showrooms in order to get the feeling's indication of the materials, colors and more relevant ideas.
