| DESIGN NAME: Bevel PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kitchen INSPIRATION: In the spirit of craftsmanship, the edge of the middle island is designed with a beveled angle instead of the traditional handle, so that there is no worry about bumping and injury when passing through, and it also has a layered texture when stroked, reflecting a simple but not simple introverted brushwork. Even the table top and table base also use the same design vocabulary to create a harmonious and docile picture. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Using the design method of boundary but not boundary, the kitchen and living room space are independent but closely connected, maintaining the living area, and becoming a relaxed field for the hostess to receive guests independently. Create a kitchen space that combines Asian kitchen culture and multi-purpose use. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The warm daylight floods the room, kneaded with jet black and oak color system boards to form a clean kitchenware, and flame-resistant jet black siding is wrapped along the surrounding frame, and the splash-proof wall is also laid with the same style but with fine stone texture. , Improve the convenience of cleaning and maintenance. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in September 2020 in Miaoli , Taiwan. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Beveled artificial stone, oak, graphite color ceramic board, imitation stone siding, iron parts, buffer hardware. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 7690mm x 3740mm x 2550mm TAGS: Kitchen Design, Modern Kitchen, Simplicity, Humanity, flexibility, customization, innovation, minimalism, technology RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In terms of details, the electric ceramic stove and the gas stove are respectively equipped, which are in line with the cooking forms of American light food and Chinese quick stir-fry. Simultaneously, the double table height is formulated according to ergonomics, which can prevent water splashing during cleaning, do not bend over, do not hang hands, and reduce the burden of housework. CHALLENGE: In the design of the countertop, the bevel method is used to increase the visual sense of line and eliminate the heavy feeling. The door panel is also beveled and opened by pressing instead of the traditional handle to echo the overall design.
