| DESIGN NAME: City Clou PRIMARY FUNCTION: Community INSPIRATION: Located in the heart of the world-famous coastal city Cebu, the project is the second urban mixed-use complex developed by the Golden Topper Group in the Philippines. Integrating the functions of hotel, office and residence, the 160-meter-high tower buildings embrace the bustling cityscape of Cebu and expansive ocean views. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design theme "a vacation life accompanied by clouds and the sea" is inspired by the abundant local natural element, such as clouds, sea, islands, and the waterfront. In order to create a chic international vacation experience, the designers try to incorporate modern, fluid landscape art and a relaxing hotel-style ambiance. The shadows of coconut trees sway betwixt the clouds and the sea, and the turquoise pool reflects the golden sunrays. Everything here returns to tranquil nature. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The overall landscape space encourages communication among occupants, creates a sense of fluidity and unhindered communication within the community, and enhances the quality of urban life. Occupants here can feel sunshine, forest islands, the waterfront, and the fusion of landscape space and architecture. Children, pets, adults and the elderly alike can enjoy the comforts of life, while experiencing harmonious interaction between a stylish urban life and a tranquil seaside vacation experience. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in November 2021. It will finish in April 2024 in Cebu City, Philippines. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The overall landscape design creates an atmosphere that integrates leisurely hotel-style experience with urban "micro vacation" experience, and blends a luxurious hotel resort style into community life. The quality of space is enhanced by landscape layout, exquisite craftsmanship and special material textures. An interactive community space is formed in the public area through scene creation, which strengthens the occupants' emotional bond, sense of identity with the site and satisfaction. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project is intended to construct an environmentally-frie TAGS: Hotel-style homecoming experience, Central leisure pool, All-age activity area, Multi-functional fitness space, Secret garden, Leisure garden, Fitness track, Vacation garden RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The overall landscape design adopts the layout of "one core, one ring and eight gardens". One core refers to the pool area at the center; one ring is the circular track for running; eight gardens include a leisure garden, a kiddie garden, a fitness garden, a pet garden, a spa garden, a vacation garden, a secret garden and a barbecue garden. NAME: IVVA INC. IVVA is dedicated to experimental and classic landscape design, and endeavors to lead a wide variety of landscape styles, including fashionable modern style, Miami vacation style, Dubai style, natural vacation style, garden style, metropolitan style, neo Chinese style and upscale artistic landscape, as well as the design of vigorous urban public space. What's more, the practice pursues the perfect unity among master planning, architecture, interior, landscape, lighting and artworks. |
