PRIMARY FUNCTION: Herbal Tea
INSPIRATION: This is a direction where Bloom is communicated as an organic, refreshing, and premium brand. The Digital Painting style is used to make the packaging look realistic andeye-catchy. The pastel color palette evokes calmness and relaxation. Bonding feelings of earthiness and peacefulness to create a grounded sensation which conveys the main message, attaining mental and physical wellness.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Mashreq is an Egyptian company for business development with 30 years of experiencein the FMCG Market. In 2021, Mashreq launched Bloom, a new promising herbal infused tea brand on the rise. Bloom was launched to fulfill the means of finding both physical and mental well-being, to actually ‘bloom from within’. Bloom values self-love, it emphasizes on the necessity of taking some time off for yourself, for both nourishment and relaxation.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The product transforms the well-being of the person drinking the tea into the better, giving them a peaceful state of mind.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2021 in Cairo, Egypt and finished in December 2021 in Cairo, Egypt and was displayed in Carrefour Megastore and Gourmet Egypt.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The idea behind the brand is to normalize the usage of herbal tea for every day use instead of occasional use. We conducted a through search online on the shape of the herbs in order to craft an eye catching and unique design.
CHALLENGE: The hardest part of this design activity is the design of the illustrations itself.
