| DESIGN NAME: Potbowl PRIMARY FUNCTION: Tableware INSPIRATION: Meet our Pott Bowl, the new and colorful stop of culinary journeys, specially designed for bowl food culture! Its earth-toned natural appearance, reactive glaze application and artistic relief details from the pottery tradition make reference to the past. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Pott Bowl Collection puts the food on the spotlight; allows you create presentations to be appreciated with mindfulness and pleasure. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The culture of serving many dishes in bowls, which has become popular today, can be on your tables with the Pott Bowl. We wanted the series to appeal to everyone's tables. It provides a variety in two colors as pink and earthy brown and is suitable for hand ergonomics. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Press mold technique, porcelain, sage glaze & sand glaze SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 10 cm / 22 cm 1070 cc / 14cm / 18 cm 650 cc TAGS: Bowl, Craft, Earthenware, Terra cota, Heritage RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Benchmark observation from countries leading the bowl foo culture. Understandement of bowl foods such as Poke bowl, Burrito bowl, Matcha bowl, Sushi bowl, Noodle bowl and etc. The result from these observations provided us to find the right portions to make a bowl food and to give a visual pleasure while using the product. CHALLENGE: Inspired by many world cuisines. Another source of our ideas was pottery, which is an example of an ancient culture. The hardest part was reflecting the cultural heritage pattern onto the bowls in a modernised way. At the same time we reach the goal of creating the most suitable portions.
