PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Office

INSPIRATION:
For a successful law firm that has never lost a case, the concept of freedom and the feeling of infinity are emphasized with vertical elements and floor-to-ceiling reflections.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Combined a four-storey-law firm building with a five-storey twin villa. With the interior design, transition corridors were created between the two buildings and the exterior design was combined with a holistic approach.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Although it was not easy to combine the two buildings, circulation and access were provided between all spaces with stairs and elevators.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project and construction started in December 2021 in Ankara and finished in November 2022.

Interior Space and Exhibition Design

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
It is a project where the most up-to-date materials and applications are preferred. Large sized ceramics such as 120240 cm were used as decor on the walls, and the thinnest porcelain countertops were used. Glossy ceramics on the floor are supported by mirrors on the ceiling, creating a sense of infinity. This concept is also supported by vertical elements.

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
By combining the two buildings, a total of 850 sqm closed area and 230 sqm landscape area were designed and implemented.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The passage and circulation between the two buildings has been ensured in a functional way with two upstairs (one of them is new construction) and the existing elevator. The office of the founder of the company, located on the fourth floor of the existing building, was combined with the fourth floor of the new building, and resting rooms, a winter garden with a fireplace and a bar were designed. A garden floor was created for the general manager's room, a working space with a fireplace was designed, and a hidden resting room and bathrooms were created.

CHALLENGE:
Despite the low construction equipment of the existing building, the feeling of infinity is emphasized with the chosen design language and materials, vertical elements and reflections. The stairway of the new building was changed considering its connection with the existing building. The two buildings are functionally combined from the inside by giving a transition between the two buildings from the ground floor and the fourth floor.
