| DESIGN NAME: Khorshid PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential INSPIRATION: The idea comes from Ancient Persian arts. Art of mirror work is a decorative craft in Iran and it’s been used in luxurious houses, due to studies the history goes back to the Sassanid period. In this project, mirror art is used in a modern way. Also, the oldest carpet belongs to the Achaemenid period. The goal is to give more beauty and warmth to the client`s home by using carpets on the floor and their colors. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The special feature of this house is that all lights and electrical components are smart. Appliances are adjustable with smartphones In Addition, the unique combination of modern and comfortable furniture with a classic environment and ornate is a noticeable point. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: While the environment is a combination of modern and classic, practicality and technology are important in today's era. That is why all chandeliers are smart, in all corridors, smart sensors are used for lighting. Also, the intensity, amount, and color of light can be changed by the user. All kitchen appliances and even curtains with electric motors can be used with smartphones. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In this project, stone and wooden tiles, and leather laminates have been used for the floors of different areas. The walls are covered with velvet fabrics, crystal wallpapers, and mirrors. lighting and all electrical devices are adjustable with Sensitive sensors and smart home systems. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The home is 320 sqm. with a ceiling height of 3.2 m. TAGS: contemporary, modern, Persian, combination design, timeless design, innovate, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The audience requested the TV Room to be luxurious and warm at the same time, in addition, should have considered shades of Persian architecture. Due to this, many studies and internet researches have been done and lots of books such as The Stylistics of Iranian Architecture written by Dr. Pirnia and the book of Modernity Architecture written by Babak Ahmadi have been read for this project CHALLENGE: One of the most difficult tasks was to make the whole client`s family happy and satisfied. People of different ages with a variety of tastes, as the resulting designer preferred to combine contemporary design with classic style. Combining aristocratic colors with the simplicity of the furniture and creating an intimate and luxurious atmosphere was challenging.
