PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Measure Height and Weight

INSPIRATION:
At present, the products on the market that can measure the height and weight of children at the same time are large in size, expensive, and appear infrequently in families, which inspired the design of this product. The weight scale is matched with a height with a magnetic suction structure and a tape measure. The ruler can easily measure the height and weight data of children, helping parents to understand the development status of children anytime and anywhere at home.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This is a low cost, small volume, automatic data recording product for children's height and weight measurement. The biggest innovation is to solve the problem of large size and high cost of existing height and weight measurement products, and this product can automatically upload the measured data to the APP to generate a record curve to help parents clearly understand the changes in children's height and weight.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
When the child stands on the scale, the weight data will be displayed directly. When the height scale is turned on and connected to the scale through magnetic attraction, the height data will be displayed on the height scale. The partition display does not interfere with each other, which is very convenient for users to operate.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
Starts in Hangzhou in January 2021 and ends in Hangzhou in October 2021

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The scale panel is made of 5mm tempered glass, which has good rigidity. The height ruler is made of smooth ABS, which is durable and easy to clean.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
This product is positioned as a home child height and weight measurement device. The design requirements of the product lie in a small size and low-cost solution. Through field visits to thousands of families, it is found that only 5% of the families can measure the height of children at the same time. Weight products, and bulky, take up more home space.

CHALLENGE:
A new comprehensive measurement method of height and weight is designed, and the measurement accuracy is guaranteed, and the volume is small and the cost is low.
