DESIGN NAME: Deep Water Unisuit
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Rowing Race Suit
INSPIRATION: The design of the EVUPRE Deep Water Rowing Race Suit includes a lot of ideas which represent the brand EVUPRE. The V coming from the name logo is placed all over the Rowing Unisuit in various layers. Inspired by water surfaces, this gives the illusion of looking into a deep lake or ocean. Hence the name of the design. The many shades of blue again represent the beauty of the element of water.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The EVUPRE Deep Water Rowing Race Suit impresses with particular lightness and unrestricted mobility, whether at competitive speed or in arduous training. Fast-drying, lightweight, and stretchy fabrics ensure rapid cooling in action. The Unisuit has no seams in the seating area and is therefore very comfortable to wear.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The EVUPRE Deep Water Rowing Race Suit is a must-have for rowers with the endeavor to go fast. The slim-fit uni suit stands for freedom of movement without compromises. Just like a second skin, there is no unnecessary fabric disturbing your racing.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was executed from 2019 to 2020 in Vienna and Linz, Austria. It was first presented on the website www.evupre.com and at retailers in Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The EVUPRE Deep Water Rowing Race Suit is made of ultra-lightweight materials with a great moisture performance. No matter how much sweat and splash water, the Unisuit dries up quickly and guarantees high comfort. Mesh panels support the air ventilation, keeping your body cool even when racing on a hot summer day. We chose to design the seating area seamlessly in order to increase the seating comfort even during long rowing sessions. In addition, the fabric on the bottom is slightly thicker. This again increases the seating comfort and guarantees the longevity of the Unisuit. Flat seams and a flat elastic hem placed at the end of the legs give the Deep Water Rowing Race Suit a perfect finish.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: With competitive rowers in our team, we quickly learned that rowing gear should not be a source of snagging during a pull. Everything was super tight. We started to rethink rowing clothing: the uni suits feel like silk thanks to the very light tech fiber made from recycled polyester, and the pants are tight but airy, a pleasant novelty compared to the usual skin-tight Lycra clothing.
CHALLENGE: EVUPRE is a simplified word we created from the French phrase Êtes–vous prêts? Partez! used as the traditional starting command for rowing races many years ago. Next to the heritage of rowing lasting beyond modern times, we want to stand for passion, tradition, and quality in combination with the latest technology and timeless design. Our goal is to bring a new level of rowing gear to the scene by focusing on functionality and fit tailored specifically to the sport, using only the best materials we can find and manufacturing them into a variety of different items that have a captivating design. Being aware of our impact on the environment, our partners, and the wider community is important to us, that’s why we aim to operate using sustainable and ethical business practices wherever possible. We want you to feel the passion we have for the sport and thoughtfulness towards our customers every time they throw on their EVUPRE gear and go out for a row.
