| DESIGN NAME: Kremastra PRIMARY FUNCTION: Clothes Hangers INSPIRATION: A piece of wood from a cypress tree with its distinctive smell was enough to ignite my inspiration to transform it into a practical object. It was the beginning which gave birth to an everyday object the clothes hanger. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A piece of wood from a cypress tree with its distinctive smell, was enough to ignite my inspiration to transform it into a practical object. It was the beginning which gave birth to an everyday object the clothes hanger. Soon enough from our first shape we got on to fully deconstructing it in order to achieve a more distinguished design. We came up with this specific appearance only by using two elements cypress wood and stainless steel metal. CHALLENGE: the most difficult part of the design of the object was the approach of the new form and experience of hanging and the utilization of usability to a new level.
