UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In architecture, topmost member of a column or a pilaster is called the capital. The capital mediates between the column and the load thrusting down upon it, broadening the area of the column's supporting surface. The Ionic order is one of the three canonic orders of classical architecture, the other two being the Doric and the Corinthian.
