DESIGN NAME:
EDELWEISS

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Dining Table

INSPIRATION:
Edelweiss is a flower that grows only in the mountains. Gentle and snow-white.. If you want to see it, you need to overcome many difficulties. First of all, fear, internal barriers. The combination of these factors and the versatility of our world, the movement to the stars through the difficulties in the form of our internal barriers - all this inspired me to create this table.. the complex line of the legs forms a delicate pattern of a beautiful flower.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The complex geometry of the legs, intersecting metal lines form a pattern of a beautiful delicate flower. The plates move from one to the other, intersect, complement each other, run parallel. This is a complex technological process, but absolutely fascinating. The elements of the legs of this table can be considered for a long time. The engraving on the outside of the legs adds sophistication, but does not overload the design with unnecessary elements.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The main idea pursued by the author of the project is a unique aesthetics, art, a reminder to a person that despite technological progress, a person should be one with nature... that is why the table is interesting - its not only an interesting design, but also a deep philosophical thought.. this will allow you to unite many people at one table, which will unite them

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The goal is to unite people and remind them that technology should not conflict with nature. Nature, ecology and energy processes can interact with technological progress. However, humanity should be able to overcome our internal barriers and be more free in their inner thoughts. In order to achieve the goals, the author took a rough material - metal and, thanks to a complex technological process, manual labor, arranged the layers of metal in such a way that they formed a pattern resembling a flower. This geometry forces us to consider details and go into the philosophy of our thoughts. In real life, this subject will unite people, families, and make us remember simple and correct truths that can prompt us to think about peace, tranquility and the preservation of common human values.

CHALLENGE:
The main difficulty was in the technological process, since the layers of metal must intersect each other, but at the same time maintain one line. It was decided to take the ideas of a designer who has hidden connecting elements between metal segments. This allows you to preserve the aesthetics. At the same time, there was a question of optimizing the process for the purpose of economic benefit. The design of the table itself is extremely interesting, as it combines old and new technologies for working with metal, as well as several stylistic directions
