| DESIGN NAME: Shadow Play Window Cleaner PRIMARY FUNCTION: Glass Cleaning INSPIRATION: Through the understanding of shadow play, I think that every time I work, my sister likes to imitate me to do housework. She likes to make up stories while dancing and talking to herself. So I designed a shadow play window cleaner by combining the structural characteristics of shadow play and the attributes of stage story, and gave energetic children a labor toy of their own. The purpose is to make children fall in love with labor and make window cleaning a fun and interesting thing. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The main rod of each animal window cleaner supports the round body to slide and clean the window, and the auxiliary rod is equipped with a suction head to absorb the head and swing and play. This window cleaner is divided into two biological series with two themes. Each series has four protagonists and attached story accessories, so that parents and children can role play and play. One is the dinosaur series, the other is the food chain series. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The common point of window cleaners in each animal form is that they take a circular body as the main body, the main body is linked with a retractable handle, and there is a swinging head on the top. The head contains an iron sheet. The top of the attached operating rod is equipped with a magnet to magnetically absorb the animal head. In this way, the simple and honest head of the animal can be rotated through the operating rod to make different and interesting actions, To achieve the linkage effect of shadow play. The length of the operating lever can be adjusted to suit the different arm lengths of adults and children. The cleaning disc can rotate 360 °. The size of story accessories (such as volcanoes and clouds) is just suitable for the palm to extend in to clean the window. A suction cup is installed on the inner side, which can be adsorbed on the glass and can serve as the background of the story when not in use. The main disc and accessories are wrapped with plush cleaning cotton cloth which is easy to disassemble and easy to replace. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The inner disc and magnet suction head are made of CNC machining, and processed manually, polished and painted in the later stage of forming. The suede surface of external parts is completed by using the traditional manual sewing technology of "special textile products such as unified needle, dark needle and triangular needle, computer flat car, wrap sewing car, chain car and knot car" SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: - RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: The transformation from drawing paper to real object is the difficulty. The proofing data and details of the model have been adjusted repeatedly. In order to realize the movement of the joint, the disc sheath structure needs to be constantly tried and wrong during sewing. In order to sew the ideal appearance, it can be successful after countless modifications and discussions.
