DESIGN NAME: Green Suspension
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Building
INSPIRATION: In this era, with pandemic period, Tehran residential complex, faced by challenge: no open spaces enough in buildings. Depression symptoms have been increased. Based on Dr.Elnaz Abbasian's thesis: landscape factors for deducing depression symptoms and also site analysis designers noticed to residential building's needs: pure private space, public space for small society, new elevations, new construction which impact on human psyche. So team decided to design suspended gardens in several levels.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Optimal private and public zones, sustainable gardens in several levels, pure private space, movable constructions, use of stones in different shapes for interiors make this building as sustainable and sanitary. Air corridors from north to south of each levels ventilate the air naturally to save energy. especial view axes, technology of movable windows and small yard for cypress in each levels make good sense and prevent depression symptoms
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Using of suspended structure system for suspended Gardens is a designing advantage. For designing pure spaces, the team apples special stones in different shapes. The stone helps designers to create everything in sanitary way. Team consulate and uses some brands such as Salvatori, Valcucine kitchen and Avandad Stone.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Location: Tehran, IR
The design of project started in December 2020 in Tehran and finished in June 2021, and was exhibited in Jun, Architect. the project will complete up to 2022

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: some challenges were found in site : slope, different facades of neighbors, pandemic time and nothing has natural view of area, views for facades and generation of private open spaces.
The team had trouble with ministry to change their aspects of facade. They should allow to have green spaces in whole of first places.The team should design luxury and very modern roof garden.
The team should solve the wind tunnel in garden levels. so team decided to use suspended structures to generate the gardens and specific spaces for living.

2.Height :24.80m
3.Gardens: 3 suspended garden in some heights: 3m,4.5 m
public roof garden and special roof garden for 5th floor

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Due to shortage of private green space, new Tehran urban planning needs the creation of small private gardens in apartment complexes after pandemic .So designers use Delphi method to know specialists' opinions about it. In this building, the team has decided to move the city into a residential complex by suspended gardens and special gallery lobby of new lifestyle. Public gardens and private cypress yard in each level provide mental health context.
CHALLENGE: 1.natural ventilation is difficult in this era.
2. Iran urban planning laws are different aspects to designers thought, sothey should have many Meetings to give their approved
3. all neighbor hood buildings are classic style and designers have new idea to change.
