| DESIGN NAME: Wooden-style Life PRIMARY FUNCTION: Rose Garden House INSPIRATION: Space can easily lose the essence when it’s overwhelmed by too many things. Therefore, the designer only keeps the most indispensable in the space to create a more comfortable, effective and beautiful design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Rose Garden targets at modern young singles, offering a living space without any cumbersome planning and functional division. The whole 300 square meters area is presented in an open plan manner. The use of a large number of original wood colors coupled with black, white and grey creates a natural and relaxed feeling for residents. Meanwhile, some trendy elements have been added to meet the aesthetic needs of contemporary youth. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The layout design is in an open plan style without any cumbersome separation lines but it ensures each space have all the needed functions, which helps to optimize the original spatial structure. The open plan kitchen is blended with the dining room, and the large ares of windows closely link the interior and exterior, providing a great view of the city. The incoming sunlight gives the space a sense of extension, and the interior decoration is simple and comfortable. Here, individual living needs and aesthetics are all met as storage cabinets are provided to meet the storage needs. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The interior decoration, including the ooden flooring, chair rails, fabric sofas, marble, earth tiles and geometric shapes, shows a rich interplay of different materials and elements, giving the space a sense of extension. Thus a tranquil and comfortable atmosphere is created in such an elegant space. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This is a residence covering a total floor area of 300 square meters, including one kitchen, one dining room, one living room, four bedrooms, five bathrooms, one study and one laundry room. TAGS: - RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Given the lifestyle and residential needs of young single people, the layout is adapted to the structure of the house to maximize the spatial advantage. The natural and pure light fills the rooms. The modern and minimalist design fully blends tradition and modernity as well as life and art to create a more comfortable living space. CHALLENGE: The floor area, covering a spacious 300 square meters, must be properly divided to deliver the best spatial experience. The design as a whole places a huge emphasis on customers’ pursuit of quality life and embodies new aesthetics of urban living.
