PRIMARY FUNCTION: Medical Equipment's Female Breast Heal
INSPIRATION: The incidence of breast cancer among female cancers in the world is 24.2%, ranking first. In China, more than 300,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. At present, the machines for detecting breast cancer in the market are backward, which can not accurately test the patient's condition. Therefore, combining with the research of user experience and the analysis of using environmental factors, the breast health monitoring equipment is redefined.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This breast cancer detection system subverts the traditional way of breast health monitoring. This machine can slice and photograph the breast through the rotation of the bulb tube, and finally get a complete three-dimensional image, which can judge the disease state more accurately and reduce the diagnosis time. Simple and soft appearance helps to relieve the tense atmosphere during diagnosis and eliminate the fear.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: During patient detection, the Breast Cancer Detection System can decompose the X-ray film to generate a complete 3D image of the breast, and doctors can quickly judge the patient's condition according to the 3D image.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2021 in Suzhou, China, and ended in December 2021.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main body is made of PP plastic material, which is molded by injection molding process, and the part is made of sheet metal molding process. The interior is made of aluminum alloy frame, the protective cover is made of acrylic material, and the fuselage logo is printed by screen film technology.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: At present, the breast cancer detection instruments on the market can only get pictures of the stacked structure of breast tissues, which makes it impossible for doctors to judge the condition quickly. This product was designed by designers and engineers through technical analysis and tracking investigation of users' habits. It is a cooperative project between schools and enterprises, and it is a product development and design based on the scientific research background of colleges and universities and the mature production technology of enterprises.
CHALLENGE: The most difficult part of this design activity is to integrate the interests of hospitals, doctors, patients, three directions, the integrated design of functions and the convenience of human-computer interaction.
