| DESIGN NAME: VR Headsets Sterilizer PRIMARY FUNCTION: Disinfection INSPIRATION: Since the outbreak of COVID-19, it is very important to disinfect public VR glasses. To solve this problem, there are four innovations in product design: (1)Perfect fit for all VR glasses on the market; (2)It can be used by connecting to the portable charger, and the portable charger is a hidden design, the standby time of a single charge is more than 3 days; (3)It adopts the disinfection technology of deep ultraviolet light, can kill 99.9% of the germs; (4)The one-button disinfection function is smart and convenient, built-in induction switch, close the lid can be regularly disinfected. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: For VR headsets used in public places, A public VR headsets is touched by at least dozens of people every day, so their disinfection is important in the context of COVID-19. This VR headsets disinfection box can effectively kill germs, abandoning the traditional disinfection methods of alcohol and paper towels, and is more environmentally friendly, operation more simple and convenient. Daily bacterial disinfection is also an important function of it. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: After powering on, put the VR headset into the box, place the VR headset cable in the side opening, and close the lid to start the timed disinfection, which is convenient and quick, allowing it to be moved and reused at any time. A sensor switch is built-in. When the lid is opened, the light will turn off, and when the lid is closed, the light will turn on, which avoids direct exposure of skin to ultraviolet rays. This is a clever design detail. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in Guangzhou in March 2020 and was completed in May. At that time, in order to adapt to the market and quickly launch the market, the sheet metal processing technology was selected and launched in the market in two months, which has been used in many public places. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Its shape is functional. The geometrically cut opening on the front and side can be used as a handle for opening and closing, and also serve as a reserved position for the VR headset cable. This disinfection box is formed by metal stamping, which has the characteristics of high precision and good adaptability. The surface pattern is acrylic UV printed. Therefore, the disinfection box is wear-resistant and not easy to deform, and is excellent for use in public places.
