This is a unique initiative that makes collaboration and browsing competitions much more efficient. The concept of the website design and digital marketing materials is a symbol of simplicity, functionality and connectivity. The visual appearance attracts attention with animated large geometric shapes. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: DAA is collecting and publish current application opportunities about design awards and competitions and provides a platform for internationally recognized designers to show their projects and create their online portfolio. Design Award Agency is connecting talented designers with design awards and competitions, opens new business opportunites and relationships in the international design industry. DAA maintain a close relationship with all parties in the design industry. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Boost Your Visibility is a marketing strategy for Design Award Agency. The digital and printed marketing materials are placed in busy transport hubs and meeting places. People can recognize the website easly where the home page presents the mission statement of the DAA. This will be followed by featured Design Awards and highlighted Designers. Site visitors can both search and browse for Awards and Designers in different categories: Architecture, Graphic Design, Furniture Design, Illustration, Interior Design, Product Design and Photography. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Helsinki, Finland 2020 - 2021 |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The structure of the website, text boxes, buttons are designed pixel precisely in Figma. The final website was created in WIX. Digital and printed marketing materials and the vector based illustrations were made in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Animations were made in Adobe After Effects. Business cards, flyers, and posters are high quality prints on recycled paper. The visual appearance attracts attention with animated large geometric shapes. The illustrations are a mixture of symmetry and asymmetry, contrast and balance. CHALLENGE: Find the best visual communication tools that match the identity of the DAA - Design Award Agency. Composing and animating illustrations that represent independent artistic value.
