RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design meets the needs of the residents with a minimalist style. In order to prevent excessive waste or carbon dioxide emission, the designer applies organic, recycled, and reused materials such as decorative cotton cloth, metallic items, glass, and artificial stone for sustainable purpose. All the building materials used are approved by Taiwan Green Building label and eco-friendly medals from other countries.
CHALLENGE: The riverside view echoes with the symmetrical TV marble wall in the front and the back of the sofa area. Integrated with ancestral tablet and buddhist shrine, the designer arranges ventilator and storage rooms to help fit the installation in this semi-luxurious living space.
In addition, the private rooms are decorated in a neoclassical and minimalist style. Through use of wall molding, patterns, metallic textures and color blocks, the space appears more simplistic and extensive.
