RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The private area is established with a luxurious pattern and dark-colored wooden material and lattice elements. The rich colors applied offer a sense of simplicity that makes the users feel more relaxed in the space. Diverse lattice elements and linear lighting provide a rhythm that also adds translucency and fluidity to the space.
CHALLENGE: The project applies carbonized wooden materials to reduce the formaldehyde percentage in the living environment. The open-plan layout and the floor-to-ceiling windows allow a better ventilation and introduction of sunlight, reducing use of electricity.
