| DESIGN NAME: Disappearing Forest PRIMARY FUNCTION: Visible Tissue Drawing INSPIRATION: According to the survey, forests cover nearly 31% of the earth. People cut down trees indiscriminately in order to produce necessities of life, do not cherish the gifts of nature, and waste resources in life. There is an inevitable connection between paper products and trees, and the carton Is also a necessary item in the life scene. Through the visual design of the carton, people are called on to protect natural resources from different angles. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In order to arouse people's awareness of the protection of nature and carry out visual design on the carton, the tree shape on the carton will show different metaphorical states with the reduction of paper towels. Every time people use a piece of paper, one tree on the carton will disappear. In the process of product experience, it will remind people to save tree resources through subtle influence, Arouse people's awareness of the protection of natural resources and reduce unnecessary waste. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The visual drawing paper box makes the trees on the pattern disappear gradually. It is a metaphor that people save tree resources. Every time people use a piece of drawing paper, the trees in the forest will be reduced accordingly. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was started in Wuhan in April 2021 and completed in Wuhan in August 2021. |

Research objective: to arouse people's awareness of the protection of nature. Methodology: the design is guided by desktop research, user interview and competitive product analysis. Data collection: use the form of user interview to understand the user's concept of environmental awareness, so as to guide the design direction. Opinion and social impact: design originates from life and serves life. The visual symbols brought by the carton imperceptibly affect the user's use behavior, so as to achieve the purpose of publicity and appeal for saving environmental resources.
