PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Modular Rotary Hot Pot

INSPIRATION:
Hot pot is a unique food in China, which is very common and popular. An accidental experience made me see the kitchen of a hot pot restaurant and I found some problems of trellis hot pot: taking up space for being failed to pile up. So I decided to design a brand new Gongge Hotpot for it to solve a common problem of most hotpot restaurants!

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This is the industry’s innovative modular rotary hot pot, which is the initial one in the world. It solves some problems of trellis hot pot: taking up space for being failed to pile up. The pot could be piled up so as to maximally save 84% storage space. The hot pot is set with automatic rotation. The pot body is made with an integrated casting process. The solderless joint would hide no dirt, and it is easy for cleaning. The soup would not be mixed.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The modular separate design could separate the pot body and the base. Diners could choose the number of trellis according to their favor and match with taste casually. The hot pot is driven by the built-in motor to have a slow rotation so that the diners sitting in different directions could take the hot pot of any taste and enjoy the multiple tastes.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in January 2021 in Tangshan and finished in January 2022 in Beijing.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
It is adopted with the baking paint outer layer that would have heat insulation and high-temperature resistance; and it passes the anti-scald test, so as to provide safety protection for diners. It is used with cutting-edged inction heat (IH) to reduce the heat conduction process of the heating plate so that it could heat the internal pot body. The heating is quick with efficient and even heating, so there is no need to wait too long for the tasty.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Redefine the cleaning standard of hot pot with curved surface without dead corner!The internal curved surface transition of the pot body would get rid of the dead corner of the traditional trellis hot pot, which greatly improves the cleaning efficiency, so it is clean and hygienic. The main material is the 304 stainless steel of food contact grade, which is safe to eat, high temperature resistant, corrosion-resistant, not easy to rust, recyclable and easy to clean. Hence, it reaches the requirement of environmental protection and meets the green and sustainable development idea.

CHALLENGE:
Hygiene dead corner hides and covers the dirt. The problems of trellis hot pot: taking up space for being failed to pile up.
