| DESIGN NAME: Ocean Dreams PRIMARY FUNCTION: Necklace INSPIRATION: I spent the evening at home looking at my aquarium. I was inspired by the beauty and grace of the fighting fish - cockerel. The fish moved slowly in the water, stopping in place and bewitching with the movements of its tail, developing in the water currents. I started to create sketches and then decided to realize my idea with the help of 3D modeling. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of creating the product is to show the smooth natural forms of the fish, the curves of its fins, tail, and scales. The abstract shapes of the stars also convey the unhurried, calm life of the underwater world. Both seem to develop in weightlessness. Air bubbles rising to the surface are emitted by pearls and drops on the surface of stars. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The necklace is designed for social events, ceremonial exits. Oval-cut sapphires combined with a gold setting and pearls will look great with evening dresses. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The 3D model was created using software ZBrush and Rhinoceros. It is designed taking into account its further production. The 3D model will be milled in wax on a CNC machine and cast with precious metal. The product is polished, mounted on a chain and decorated with sapphires.When creating the model, we used Rhinoceros, ZBrush. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The size of the fish is 37.5 mm * 40 mm. Star size 18.9mm 16.8mm and 11.8mm. Modeling, milling, casting, grinding, polishing, installation, setting of stones. TAGS: Fishes, ocean, tranquility, appeasement, jewelry, 3d modeling RESEARCH ABSTRACT: When creating the necklace, the moment was taken into account that no one had yet created a complex technical design of a piece of jewelry on the theme of the sea. The color scheme of the product was chosen taking into account the harmony and contrast of blue and yellow colors. CHALLENGE: The challenge was to design a gorgeous piece of jewelry that could properly accentuate the look and outfit of the girl who wears it. Playing with sculptural forms, their scale and plasticity, it was possible to convey the grace, calmness and majesty of this proud aquarium fish. Abstract stars with stones and bubbles balance the composition, while maintaining calmness in the underwater world.
