| DESIGN NAME: Silence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential INSPIRATION: The client came into our office with many hard copy of floor plan and three dimensional renderings that was drawn by other interior design firms, and those design was not perfectly contented for the client, so the client was looking for another designer to complete the project perfectly how the client wanted. From that moment the designer knew this project will have many challenges, but the designer wanted to achieve the client's goals and make the designer more valuable as being an interior designer. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project the design focus on using three main color tones, which is white, grey, and black with natural lighting to create a sense of tranquility within space. Entering this space from the porch, those wall and cabinets surface applied with newly created technology panels, and the designer created the layers and depth from vision in the space by using this panel but with different colors; The wall panels also extend to the guest dining room space with the hidden door to integrate the space together. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The designer chose the same material as continuity, which is extending from the entrance thought out the living room to incorporate the whole interior space in one. For the lighting color tone arrangement, the designer consider based on the existing site natural lighting during the daytime, and chose the cooler tone of lighting color to light up the original material of the building; During the night time, the space is equipped with 4000K lighting configuration to make the space present a different atmosphere. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Special sheet、Art paint、Wooden floor SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 66m2 TAGS: Grey、Black、Natur RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project we focus on using three main color tones, which is white, grey, and black with natural lighting to create a sense of tranquility within space. The TV wall in the living room uses the artistic paint to create the sense of silence within the environment. The overall wall in the living room uses the black solid wood veneer as the main material, and the solid wood grille is also integrate into this wall to create the layers and depth. CHALLENGE: From entering the hidden door of the master bedroom, the black solid wood veneer surface is embellished with the stainless steel shelving, which make the whole black veneer wall look three-dimensional. The arc style design from the wall to the ceiling in the master bedroom makes the space overlap and create a sense of hierarchy. The gray-toned of the wardrobe with hidden projection screen design allows the space to be fully utilized.
