| DESIGN NAME: Sunrise and Nightfall PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: Excitements in life come from the variety and flexibility of space. One need not travel around, for happiness lies in everyday life. The designer divides the space into different sections through color and materials with precision. The rich and dark common space with classic elements that forms a European style, which reflects the young nights and the tipsy bits in life. On the other hand, the brightness and warmth in the bedroom lit by the sunlight. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Upon entering the space, the dark wooden wall with the bronze panels and goldstones create an ambience, as if a bottle of fine whiskey is opened through the sight, and the amber spirit is poured into an onyx glass with the aromas permeating the air. The open plan keeps the fluidity in the common space, while the storage cabinets maximizing the storage space and the display cabinet showing the collection and taste of the owner. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the waltz light and shadow dance around, the space has transformed into a free-spirited bistro. The kitchen island becomes a private bar, only reserved for friends and family. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project is finished in January 2021 in Taipei City. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The large opening introduces natural lights into the room, reducing the use of artificial lights during the day. The designer plays with classic elements such as leathers, metals and trims to bring out different layers of lights. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This project is 99 square meters. TAGS: Interior, Vacation, Wooden, Urban, Cozy RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The master bedroom, contrastingly, is like the other end of time. The warm and rather clean space in white with wood panels and a large window, allowing natural light to shine in the room. The wooden lattice on the wall adds in another layer, and the floating drawers keep the tidiness and simplicity. The warmth in brown and the purity in white intertwine, establishing a sense of ease in everyday life. CHALLENGE: The multi segment lighting control offers a flexibility to switch atmosphere due to occasions, whether it's a party craze, or a quiet night for one.
