DESIGN NAME: Nautilus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Medical Clinic
INSPIRATION: The design of the interior spaces is inspired by fluid forms of running water(river). Which are completely seen in all forms and monuments designed in all the spaces in the clinic. They bring peace and calm to the people in the clinic since the water is peaceful and calm in nature.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It has been designed in a minimal and modern style and furnitures are based on human ergonomics. All of the objects like reception desk and dr’s desk have been designed by this idea. It makes a positive connection between human and the nature by it’s design.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This project is designed to encourage the sense of thinking, reasoning, and not simply disregarding the events and the world around. It makes the person calm and peaceful before they go for a surgery.
With neutral spaces by using the list colors and materials, it has been tried to provide peaceful ambience for the patients and make them mentally ready for the surgery.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project has been designed and implemented in Tehran in August 2021.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: All the objects and the walls produced by state-of-the-art 3d printing system combined with fiberglass technology and hand crafting for the final refinements.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is designed in totally 185 square meters. The size of the counter is 330*200*85 centimeters and the size of the desk is 240*440*85 centimeters.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Distruction of two dr’s offices to merge them into one clinic. Solving the plan. Interior Designing with fluid shaped objects. Keeping the space and objects as functional as possible while interior designing based on the concept.
CHALLENGE: The main challenge was how to bring the best out of a small space to make it as cosy as possible. And there was a column in the middle of the waiting room, which we combined it with the reception desk. All the details are connected together and made an outstanding harmony.
