PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Advance Guard Gown

INSPIRATION:
The model represents the young generation in Asian society. We are fragile and soft, but silently looking forward to the sparkling affirmation and recognition of most people. The full code of ethics is like a beautifully packaged cage that locks us with natural and even high-sounding shackles.Although the cage looks beautiful, the girl is disappointed and wants to break out of the cage and be freeThe expression on the model's face shows that she can only dream of getting rid of all the shackle

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This design represents not only fashion, but also tt is a combination of fashion and crafwork together to represent light of hope. It is quite encourage people to find the direction of life and it is considered as art piece as well.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
This project started in May 11th and it was done in June 2021 Taipei.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The cage is made by acrylic strips,LED light straps. The main fabric of the dress is mesh in nude colour with diamonds on it.

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
The size of the cage is width 45", length 44" and depth 20". The size of the dress is bust 33"/ waist 26.5"/ hips 37"

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:

CHALLENGE:
The most difficult part of making my design is that I had to use a fire gun to melt triangular strips which is Each breakpoint was tied up with plastic straps. In order to emphasize the outline of the cage, I set up the LED light bar inside, and make the center front of the cage spreads out in a radioactive manner, it will make the model not only look good on the body, but also look thinner. These things above is the hardest part of this project for me because is completely different than what I learn in fashion industry.

PROFILE:
Terrance was encouraged by his family to study fashion in Toronto Ontario, Canada. When he was in college, he unexpectedly discovered his talent in painting and found the beauty of color and space. Later soon, he was recommended by the professor to transfer to SENECA COLLEGE to study fashion design, and then studied fashion styling and makeup in New York which established his enthusiasm and mission for clothing. With the baptism of Canada and New York, Terrance was honord to be as an assistant designer of men's wear by a brand called Aquascutum of London in 2011. According to the experience of working for Aquascutum of London, he realized that being a professional designer; especially in an international market, the most important thing is to in-target the needs of market and design products practically. Terrance always says that the most exciting moment is when people have confidence by wearing his design that will be where his next source of inspiration.
