| DESIGN NAME: Moonstar PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ring INSPIRATION: Traveling to space, discovering the Milky Way's mysteries, and seeing its constituent elements is the aspiration humans have had with his from the old days. Human has always liked to detect these components in the space, and they are always trying to see and find them. The idea of this Ring is inspired by the astronauts, Moon, Stars, and Galaxy and brings a modern and mysterious atmosphere to the user. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The elements that humans wish to see are embedded; the moon is placed on the ring as a pearl. Moon has two hidden and found parts, the located side is pearl, and the remote side is a semi metal. In the general belief, the pearl induces a relaxing feeling like the moon. The holes on the moon's surface are filled with sapphire stone, which causes the blue sense of the sky. This ring has retained its minimalist form in addition to making an emotional experience with the user. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The elements are ergonomic, beside the ingredients on the ring are set aside together in a way that their layout completes the concept of each other. Half of the orb which the pearl is held by is empty; this makes the ring light. This ring conveys a sense of calm to the user and has a memorable experience for everyone, especially space enthusiasts. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: White gold, pearl, diamond, and Sapphire are used in this design For modeling this work, we used Zbrush and Rhino 7 software. After modeling, we start a series of operations as, molding and casting, locating the pieces of jewelry, and the surface of the ring is polished. CHALLENGE: Our challenges were to have an ergonomic ring, have a good operation, and create an emotional relationship with the audience. And be able to design a modern and unique ring that uses elements, We can convey a story to all, especially the people who love to discover galactic mysteries and enjoy them.
